The Ecological Conservation Organization (ECO) is an Arkansas based and operated environmental non-profit organization.  The mission of the organization is very straight forward and simple, “Restore natural ecosystems through research, restoration, and advocacy.”

ECO was founded in 2004 by some of the most dedicated conservationists in Arkansas.  The core of the ECO team are native Arkansans that have been leading and working in the state’s conservation movement all of their life.  The organization was developed to address the state’s need for quality restoration based on sound science that can provide and promote progressive ecological management and the restoration of more natural habitat conditions.  ECO uses this base to advocate environmental policies that balance communities and the environment.

ECO is proud to unveil its membership program, giving Arkansans the opportunity to become founding members.  By joining ECO you will receive updated e-newsletters, have the opportunity to join ECO staff for field experiences, and receive the really cool ECO decal!  One hundred percent of your membership dollars will go directly into projects, allowing ECO to do more and to stretch our federal grant dollars.  The majority of ECOs work is funded through grants that require us to match grant money. All membership contributions are tax deductible.
